Charles Lambert obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) as well as an Executive MBA. His career began at the Ispat-Sidbec Montréal’s head office, a steel producer. He had a productive marketing career working for manufacturing enterprises as well as for Hydro-Québec. He also conducted studies at Hydro-Québec/CAE Chair in the management of technology (UQAM).
In 1999, he started the operation of Technopole Vallée du Saint-Maurice with the support of economic development organizations, research centres and the business community. Mr Lambert was Director of the Technopole Vallée du Saint-Maurice Incubator and has worked on the process of virtual incubation for start-ups and on regional innovation systems. He was Réseau IncubAction’s president from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012 as well as from 2014 to 2016 he acted as Regional Director of the Canada Economic Development agency. From 2012 to 2014 he was ICT Business development Director at Technoparc Montréal. He now has the mandate to promote and manage the Bromont Science Park.
