A global leader among aviation service suppliers and one of the most important aircraft engine producers, GE Aviation offers its engines for commercial aviation and for institutional, military and naval sectors throughout the world. The Bromont plant has gone through an impressive growth since its opening in 1982. It employs a little under 800 workers including their robotics, automation and instrumentation research and development centre, which opened in July 2013.
The Bromont plant builds aircraft engine components such as CFM56 engines designed for the Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 aircraft as well as GEnx engines designed for Boeing’s 787 and 747-8 planes.
Teledyne DALSA is an international leader in high performance digital imaging and semiconductors. It employs approximately 1000 workers worldwide. Founded in 1980, the company designs, develops, builds and markets products and digital imaging solutions and is a product and service supplier for the semiconductor sector.
Among Teledyne DALSA’s core competencies, we find specialized integrated circuits as well as its associated electronic technology and software, and finally the production of highly sophisticated semiconductor wafers.
